Happy Friday,
I wanted to share this firm favourite of mine, which I re-visit time and time again. The essence of ‘Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway’ by Susan Jeffers is to help you get comfortable with ‘fear’ as it presents itself when you are about to embark on any change or are fearful of making a potential change.
Jeffers helps to re-frame the fear into opportunity and gives you the confidence to trust in your ability to handle the ‘unknowns’ that change and life inevitably presents. The affirmation ‘Whatever happens I’ll handle it’ is one I use every single day. A must read for anyone who is considering a change or going through change in both a professional and personal sense.
I have recommended this book to so many people over the years. It's was also the topic of my first ever blog post! It's such a simple yet impactful read. You can also buy a condensed version that you can read in a few hours. It's a book I continually revisit personally when I embark on or prepare for a change. I'd love to hear your feedback if you've read this along with any other great reads on overcoming fear and managing, navigating and embracing change.
Have a super weekend ahead!
