Marathon Mission for Samaritans

Happy Friday!

I wanted to share this today, please take a few minutes to read if you can - it’s from my heart.

💚 I am running my third London Marathon in 2025 for the Samaritans.

💚 I am running for my dear friend Marie who lost her beautiful sister in June of this

year.

💚 I am also running for one of my oldest friends Sophie who is a Samaritans

volunteer.

Given my coaching role within Arch inspire, I spend a lot of my life listening and supporting others. I know first-hand how valuable listening and being there for others truly is and the critical importance of our mental health and well-being.

I know this will be a physical challenge for me but I also know mentally that I can do this.

I am determined to raise as much as I can for Samaritans to support their mission and campaign to make suicide prevention a priority. I am running for them to enable them to provide emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope or at risk of suicide.

Every 10 seconds Samaritans responds to a call for help. Samaritans are also focused on taking action to prevent crisis. They offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need. Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, Samaritans vision is that fewer people die by suicide.

My training plan has started and any early donations would be hugely appreciated.  Every penny I raise will make such a difference to so many people who need help and support.

I have been able to raise over £8300 (+ gift aid) from the last two marathons I have run for Age UK (in memory of my Nanny 💙) and for the British Heart Foundation (in memory of my friend Alex❤️). My minimum fundraising target for Samaritans is £2500💚. Raising this will mean I take my total fundraising to near to £11000.

I'd be so grateful if you can support this amazing charity and also share this post and my link (below). Thank you so much.
