Happy Friday!
I finally submitted my NLP Master Practitioner Modelling Project yesterday.
At points over the last few months it has been really challenging to complete this alongside my work, my family and my marathon training. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you have purpose and are clear on your WHY.
Without a doubt this project has challenged me in a very positive way, it has resulted in the most wonderful learning opportunity (comprising of 10,000 words of learning in-fact!).
I've learnt so much about myself and others through my research and my learning. The result is a model that I have created, which is working for myself and others focused on 'Pausing before Pleasing' when making both personal and professional decisions.
This project has enabled me to reduce ‘people pleasing’ in my personal life dramatically and to make decisions which also put my needs and values front and centre. Over the years, I have greatly developed this skill in my professional life but had struggled to do this outside of my work - I have finally cracked it!
I am immensely grateful to my models of excellence Phil, Bella, Lou and Rakhee for your time, insight, excellence and your desire to share to in turn benefit others, those who tested my model and gave me invaluable feedback – Anna, Adam, Lisa and Kirsty and to Monica Smith and Leanne (both NLP Master Practitioners and NLP Trainers who have supported me though this project, given me their time, knowledge, expertise, feedback and support.
Thank you to Sue Knight for being the most wonderful human being to work with and learn with. I have learnt so much from you and laughed so much with you – how wonderful that both these go hand in hand. You are the epitome of excellence for me. Thank you Peter Hill for connecting me with Sue too - it's been transformational.
I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for me on my NLP journey (after the marathon)!
Have a great weekend and 'Go Paddy'!
